Why/ How you got into radio:  I have always had a passion for radio.  I grew up idolizing the voices I heard coming through my radio.  From Wolfman Jack to Casey Kasem and Scott Shannon to Barney Hall.  It didn’t matter if it was music or sports, I loved it on the radio.  I got my first opportunity, to be on the air, in college at Marshall, and the rest has been history.  I love being able to talk to folks right here in the Tri-State every day.

What was your first job? Starting at 15 working in the kitchen at Buckhorn Country Club, in Valrico, FL.  In radio, my first job was in 1993 with another radio group in the Huntington area.

If you could have any super power what would it be?  To be the Man of Steel

What is the most common misconception about being a radio DJ?  That we are rock stars!

What’s your biggest fear? Standing in front of crowd with my fly down.

What was your proudest moment?  Watching my kids accomplish their goals.

Tell me about your favorite pet- Scruffy was my basset hound when I was a kid.  He used to let me ride him while I held onto to his ears.

Who is your favorite president of all time?  Ronald Reagan  Great sound bites

What would your wrestling name be?  El Grande Boom Boom

What band would you LOVE to tour with?  The original Highway Men

If you could be in the Olympics for any sport- what would it be?  Bobsled

Any random hobbies you’d like to share?  Love to cook

Anything else you’d like to tell us?  I’m a proud father of Madelin and Spencer.  I get the opportunity a handful of times each year to cover the pit road for MRN Radio.
